Eddie Goldman was born in Washington, D.C. He attended Friendship Collegiate Academy Public Charter School, where he excelled in both football and basketball. In football, he was recognized as an All-American defensive lineman. Goldman was considered a five-star recruit by ESPN and Rivals.com, being ranked as the second-best defensive tackle in his class, just behind Mario Edwards Jr., who also attended Florida State University.
