Born on August 28, 2000, in Atlanta, Georgia, he played college football for the Louisville Cardinals and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Hassan Hall grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended Maynard H. Jackson High School. During his time there, he played football as a two-way player. As a senior, Hall demonstrated his athletic prowess by racking up 728 rushing yards and five touchdowns, while also contributing defensively with 98 tackles, three interceptions, and ten recovered fumbles. Initially, Hall committed to Syracuse on August 5, 2017, but later decommitted. On October 31, 2017, he made the decision to commit to play college football at the University of Louisville.

Hall’s college career at Louisville spanned four years, during which he rushed for 1,299 yards and 11 touchdowns on 270 carries. He also made 22 receptions for 175 yards and accumulated 2,367 return yards with two touchdowns. His standout year was 2019, where he rushed for 501 yards and five touchdowns while also excelling in the return game. For his performance, he earned second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors as an all-purpose back and third-team All-ACC as a returner. In November 2021, Hall entered the transfer portal and subsequently transferred to Georgia Tech to play for the Yellow Jackets. In his lone season at Georgia Tech, he rushed for a career-high 521 yards on 116 carries and one touchdown, and caught 28 passes for 165 yards, earning All-ACC honorable mention.

Early Career (2023)
After going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, Hassan Hall signed a contract with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent. His contract was worth $125,000 guaranteed. However, he faced challenges early in his professional career. He was waived by the Browns on August 29, 2023, and subsequently re-signed to their practice squad. Unfortunately, he was released from the practice squad on September 26, 2023.
Breakthrough (2023)
Following his release from the Browns, Hall had brief stints with several teams. On November 1, 2023, he signed with the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad but was released shortly after. The New York Giants signed him to their practice squad on November 7, 2023, but he was released again on November 21. On January 10, 2024, Hall signed a reserve/future contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, but was waived on June 6. He returned to the Arizona Cardinals on August 13, 2024, but was waived again on August 27. The Cardinals re-signed him to their practice squad on December 31, 2024.
