His senior year was particularly impressive, as he was named the Grossmont Conference Defensive Player of the Year after recording 45 tackles. After high school, Jalen Davis received a scholarship offer from Utah State University, the only Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) school to do so. He played four seasons for the Utah State Aggies from 2014 to 2017. During his senior year, Davis intercepted five passes, three of which he returned for touchdowns. Jalen Davis signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2018. He was cut from the team at the end of the preseason but was re-signed to the practice squad on September 2. Davis made his NFL debut on December 9, 2018, in a close win against the New England Patriots. He recorded his first career tackle, a sack, and forced a fumble against the Jacksonville Jaguars on December 23. However, he was released by the Dolphins during final roster cuts on August 31, 2019.
