Javin White was born in San Diego, California, and spent much of his childhood in Oakland, California. He attended Vanden High School in Fairfield for two years before transferring to McClymonds High School in Oakland. At McClymonds, he played as a wide receiver on the football team. In his senior year, White caught 17 passes for 407 yards and eight touchdowns, showcasing his athletic abilities. His performance earned him a three-star recruit rating, and he committed to play college football for the UNLV Rebels, choosing them over offers from New Mexico and New Mexico State.

Early Career (2020-2021)
Javin White was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent on April 25, 2020. He was waived during final roster cuts on September 5, 2020, but was signed to the team’s practice squad the following day. White was elevated to the active roster on September 21, 2020, making his debut that night on Monday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints. He reverted to the practice squad after the game but was elevated again for several games throughout the season. He signed a reserve/future contract on January 5, 2021. However, on September 2, 2021, he was placed on injured reserve and was activated on November 1, only to be released the next day.
