Jaycee Horn attended Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. During his senior year, he recorded 44 tackles and five interceptions, showcasing his talent on the field. His performance earned him a spot in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, a prestigious high school football game that features the nation’s top players. After high school, he signed to play college football at the University of South Carolina, where he further developed his skills.

Horn began his college football career as a true freshman at South Carolina in 2018, starting 10 of 11 games and accumulating 45 tackles and two sacks. The Carolina Panthers selected Jaycee Horn in the first round as the eighth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was the first cornerback and defensive back to be drafted that year. On June 15, 2021, the Panthers signed him to a fully guaranteed four-year contract worth $21.11 million, which included a signing bonus of $12.71 million. Horn made his professional debut on September 12, 2021, against the New York Jets, where he recorded three combined tackles in a victory.
