As a senior, he averaged an impressive 26.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game, earning All-State and District 3-AA MVP honors. His performance caught the attention of college scouts, leading him to transfer to 22 Feet Academy for a season of prep basketball. At 22 Feet Academy, Bowden continued to impress, scoring 30 points at the Tarkanian Classic in December 2015, which further solidified his reputation as a talented player. He ultimately signed with the University of Tennessee on March 22, 2016, choosing the Volunteers over several other offers.

After going undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft, Jordan Bowden signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Brooklyn Nets on December 1, 2020. However, he was waived shortly after and subsequently joined the Long Island Nets, the Nets’ NBA G League affiliate. Bowden made his debut for the Long Island Nets on February 10, 2021, where he scored 4 points and grabbed 1 rebound. His breakout performance came on March 5, 2021, when he scored 20 points and recorded 11 rebounds in a win against the Memphis Hustle. Bowden continued to develop his skills during his time with the Long Island Nets, contributing significantly to the team’s success.
Breakthrough (2023–Present)
In July 2023, Bowden signed with SLUC Nancy of the LNB Pro A, where he averaged 9.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. However, his time with SLUC Nancy was short-lived, as he parted ways with the team in January 2024. Shortly after, he joined the Maine Celtics before being traded to the College Park Skyhawks in February 2024. Bowden’s journey continued as he signed with the Montreal Alliance of the Canadian Elite Basketball League in May 2024.
