He made his MLB debut in 2022 and has quickly established himself as a key player for the team. Early Life and Background

Kyle Bradish was born in the United States and grew up with a passion for baseball. He attended Millennium High School in Goodyear, Arizona, where he showcased his talent on the field. During his senior year in 2015, he batted .308 and struck out 78 batters over 43+1⁄3 innings, demonstrating his potential as a pitcher. After high school, he enrolled at New Mexico State University, where he played college baseball for the New Mexico State Aggies, further honing his skills.

Path to Baseball

At New Mexico State University, Kyle Bradish made a significant impact during his freshman year in 2016, appearing in 17 games and compiling an 8–3 record with a 4.67 earned run average (ERA). His performance earned him recognition, and he continued to excel in his sophomore and junior years, achieving an 8–2 record with a 3.20 ERA and a 9–3 record with a 2.67 ERA, respectively. His success in college baseball led to his selection by the Los Angeles Angels in the fourth round of the 2018 MLB Draft.

Early Career (2019–2021)

Kyle Bradish made his professional debut in 2019 with the Inland Empire 66ers of the High-A California League. He had a solid start to his career, finishing the season with a 6–7 record and a 4.28 ERA over 24 games, earning All-Star honors. In December 2019, he was traded to the Baltimore Orioles, where he continued to develop his skills. Although the 2020 minor league season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bradish returned to the field in 2021, starting the season with the Bowie Baysox and later moving up to the Norfolk Tides.

Breakthrough (2022–Present)

Bradish’s breakthrough came in 2022 when he was promoted to the major leagues. He made his MLB debut on April 29, 2022, as the starting pitcher against the Boston Red Sox, allowing two earned runs over six innings. His first career win followed shortly after, against the St. Louis Cardinals, where he retired 11 consecutive batters. Throughout the 2022 season, he showcased his potential, finishing with a 4–7 record and a 4.90 ERA. Notably, on September 22, 2022, he pitched 8+2⁄3 innings against the Houston Astros, striking out ten batters and leading the Orioles to a shutout victory.

In 2023, Bradish continued to impress, finishing the regular season with a 12–7 record in 30 starts and a 2.83 ERA, ranking among the best in the league. His performance solidified his position as the ace of the Orioles’ starting rotation, leading to a playoff start against the Texas Rangers. However, he faced challenges in early 2024, undergoing Tommy John surgery that sidelined him for the season. He made a successful return in 2025, earning his first win in over a year against the Chicago White Sox.
