Logan Morrison (born July 9, 2002) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Coachella Valley Firebirds of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). Morrison signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Kraken in April 2023, beginning in the 2023–24 season, and made his NHL debut in March 2024. Known for his scoring touch, he plays a right-handed shot and stands 6 feet 0 inches tall.
Early Life and Background
Logan Morrison was born on July 9, 2002, in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He grew up in a community with deep ties to competitive hockey and developed his game on local rinks from an early age. Morrison began playing organized youth hockey in the South-Central Triple A Hockey League, where he suited up for the Guelph Jr. Gryphons starting in the 2015–16 season.
During the 2017–18 season, Morrison emerged as one of the top young players in his region, scoring 38 goals and recording 86 points across 36 games for the Jr. Gryphons. Following that performance, he had a brief stint with the Guelph Jr. Hurricanes of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League in 2018, appearing in two games before moving on to major junior hockey.

Morrison was selected in the first round, 18th overall, by the Hamilton Bulldogs in the 2018 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Priority Selection.
