Early Life and Background

Sean Walker was born on November 13, 1994, in Keswick, Ontario, Canada. He began his minor hockey career playing for the Georgina Blaze AA hockey team in his hometown. As he progressed, he joined the York Simcoe Express AAA in the Eastern AAA Hockey League, demonstrating his potential as a skilled player. Walker’s early exposure to hockey laid the foundation for his future career, as he later played Junior ice hockey with the Georgina Ice during the 2011–12 season. His performance with the Georgina Ice earned him a call-up to the Newmarket Hurricanes, where he played five games before committing to college hockey.

After spending a season with the Newmarket Hurricanes and tallying 24 points in 53 games, Sean Walker committed to playing college ice hockey at Bowling Green State University. Early Career (2017–2018)

Sean Walker made his professional debut with the Ontario Reign in the 2017–18 season, where he played 64 regular season games and collected 28 points. His performance caught the attention of the Los Angeles Kings, who signed him to a two-year, entry-level contract on July 3, 2018. Walker began the 2018–19 season with the Reign but was recalled to the NHL after a strong start, making his NHL debut on October 23, 2018, against the Dallas Stars. He recorded his first NHL point with an assist in that game.

Breakthrough (2018–2023)

Walker’s breakthrough in the NHL came during the 2018–19 season when he scored his first career NHL goal on December 31, 2018, against the Colorado Avalanche.
