Tylor Perry was born in Fort Coffee, Oklahoma. He attended Moffett Public Schools during his childhood and later grew up in Spiro, Oklahoma. At Spiro High School, he excelled in basketball, averaging 25 points per game as a senior and earning a spot on the Oklahoma 3A All-State team. Initially, he committed to play for Central Missouri, a Division II school, but his parents encouraged him to enroll at Coffeyville Community College instead.
