Kamaru Usman is a Nigerian-American mixed martial artist and former UFC Welterweight Champion competing in the welterweight division. Known as “The Nigerian Nightmare,” he won The Ultimate Fighter 21 in 2015 and went on to capture the welterweight title at UFC 235 in 2019, defending it five times. An NCAA Division II national champion and former U.S. University World Team member, Usman trains at Kill Cliff FC under Trevor Wittman.
