On February 10, 2026, Chicago Fire FC introduced its latest “Forever Red” kit at a Valentine’s Day event held at Drip Collective in Chicago’s West Loop. The jersey, created in partnership with Major League Soccer and adidas, updates the Club’s traditional look while celebrating the enduring spirit of Chicago. Fans can purchase the new kit online starting at 10 a.m. CT at MLSstore.com, during the community launch event on February 14, and at the Fire’s home opener against CF Montréal on February 28 at Soldier Field.
A Fresh Take on a Storied Look
The “Forever Red” kit honors Chicago Fire’s iconic identity with a refined design spotlighting classic red tones enhanced by a crisp knitted collar and sleeve stripes in red and blue, inspired by Chicago’s city flag. The phrase “Red ‘Til The End” is prominently displayed on the jersey’s exterior neck. This design draws on the energy of Chicago itself, revisiting past uniform elements to offer a look that combines tradition with modern style, representing both on-field grit and life beyond the stadium.
Dan Moriarty, Chief Marketing Officer of Chicago Fire FC, emphasized the jersey’s significance:
“With this modern refresh of a classic, we’re honoring the legacy our fans hold close while pushing our identity forward. As we head into what promises to be one of the most electrifying eras in our Club’s history, ‘Forever Red’ captures that surge of energy and ambition. It’s more than a jersey – it’s the spark we’re carrying onto the pitch in 2026.”
Valentine’s Day Celebration Marks Kit Launch
The Club’s community-focused unveiling took place at Drip Collective (172 N Racine Ave.) on February 14, where the café was transformed into a pop-up shop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT. Attendees experienced an immersive event featuring customization stations for the new “Forever Red” kit, exclusive Chicago Fire merchandise flash sales, and live streaming of the Fire’s preseason match against the Portland Timbers.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, local DJs Step and Alexander Great provided music, while complementary Valentine’s Day floral arrangements from Planks & Pistils, heart-shaped Lou Malnati’s pizzas, and specialty coffee drinks from Café Bustelo were available. Fans also had the chance to participate in exclusive giveaways, making the event a vibrant community gathering.
Strengthened Partnership with Carvana Enhances Club’s Future
The kit’s launch also spotlighted Carvana’s expanded role alongside Chicago Fire FC as the front-of-kit jersey partner. Carvana will be the first founding partner of the Fire’s soon-to-be-built privately-funded stadium, marking a significant deepening of the relationship between the Club and the automotive e-commerce leader. This partnership reflects Carvana’s commitment not only to the Club but also to Chicago’s growing soccer community and the broader development of the sport across the United States.
Ryan Keeton, Carvana Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer, shared,
“Chicago Fire FC is building something for the long term, and we’re proud to be part of that, alongside the fans who make this city’s soccer community so special. From the nod to the Club’s history with the ‘Forever Red’ kit to helping bring a new stadium to life, we’re excited to help fuel what’s ahead for the Fire in 2026 and beyond.”
Building Momentum into the 2026 Campaign
The Fire’s regular season, supported by Carvana, kicks off on February 21 at 7:30 p.m. CT on the road against the Houston Dynamo at BBVA Stadium. This will be the opening in what promises to be a competitive campaign, followed by the home opener on February 28 against Eastern Conference rival CF Montréal at Soldier Field.
Chicago Fire FC aims to build upon the momentum of their transformative 2025 season — a year that saw the Club’s first postseason appearance since 2017, its first playoff victory in over ten years, and an eighth-place finish in the Eastern Conference. These milestones set a foundation for sustained growth both competitively and within the broader soccer community.
A Legacy of Excellence and Community Commitment
Founded on October 8, 1997, Chicago Fire FC began play in 1998 on the anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire. The Club has since secured six major domestic trophies, including the 1998 MLS Cup and multiple Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cups, along with the 2003 MLS Supporters’ Shield. The Club’s youth development system, highlighted by Chicago Fire Academy teams ranging from U-13 to U-18 and the MLS NEXT Pro affiliate Chicago Fire II, plays a critical role in cultivating talent for the future.
Off the field, the Chicago Fire Foundation has received recognition as ESPN’s 2019 Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year, delivering over $10 million in support to underprivileged youth across the Chicagoland area. The Fire operate out of the advanced Endeavor Health Performance Center and stage matches at legendary Soldier Field, underscoring their commitment to excellence.
