Todd Gilliland Eyes Breakout Win at 2026 Daytona 500

Todd Gilliland is set to begin his fifth NASCAR Cup Series season this Sunday at the 2026 Daytona 500, competing in his second year driving the No. 34 Ford for Front Row Motorsports. The 25-year-old driver closed out the 2025 season strong, achieving 11 top-15 finishes, including a career-best second place at the Fall Talladega race. At the Daytona International Speedway, Gilliland’s best result came last summer when he finished 11th in the track’s summer event.

Team and Sponsor Support for Season Opener

This season’s opener also marks the return of Love’s Travel Stops as a sponsor for Gilliland and the No. 34 team. Fans are encouraged to download the Love’s Connect App, which offers exclusive benefits such as savings of 10¢ per gallon on gasoline and up to 25¢ per gallon on diesel fuel, along with other mobile-only promotions. The app is available for download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Gilliland’s Enthusiasm and Season Outlook

Expressing confidence about the upcoming race, Gilliland said,

“There’s no better place to kick off the season than Daytona, and I can’t wait to get back on track.”

He added,

“Front Row’s superspeedway program has always been strong. We really found our stride toward the end of the 2025 season, especially with the second-place finish at Talladega, and I expect us to come out swinging and open the year with a solid result.”

Looking Ahead to the 2026 Season

With momentum from last season and strong backing from Front Row Motorsports and sponsors like Love’s Travel Stops, Todd Gilliland is aiming for a breakout performance at the Daytona 500. This race often sets the tone for the entire NASCAR season, and a strong finish here could solidify Gilliland’s position as a driver to watch. Fans and teams alike will be paying close attention as the Daytona event kicks off the 2026 campaign.
