Carson Kvapil will compete in four races with DGM Racing during the 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season. The 22-year-old Mooresville, North Carolina native is set to pilot DGM’s No. 91 Chevrolet Camaro starting February 28 at Circuit of the Americas, with additional appearances scheduled at Watkins Glen International on May 9, Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 23, and Sonoma Raceway on June 27.
2026 Race Schedule and Team Commitments Detailed
Kvapil’s four-race engagement with DGM Racing completes his overall 2026 schedule for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. The majority of his season will be spent driving the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports (JRM), sharing the seat with Connor Zilisch. Zilisch competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series with Trackhouse Racing but will split time in JRM’s lineup with Kvapil.
This arrangement makes Kvapil the second full-time JRM driver managing rides across two organizations in 2026. His teammate Rajah Caruth drives JRM’s No. 88 in 23 of the 33 races while also competing in 10 races for Jordan Anderson Racing’s No. 32 entry.
Kvapil’s Racing Background and Recent Performance
As a two-time CARS Late Model Stock Tour champion and the 2021 CARS Super Late Model Tour champion, Kvapil steadily advanced his career within the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. He made nine starts with JRM in 2024, securing three top-five finishes, including a career-best runner-up at Dover Motor Speedway.
Last season, Kvapil earned a full-time ride in the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro at JRM. Over 33 races in 2025, he collected seven top-five finishes, 14 top-10s, led 104 laps, and posted an average finish of 13.7. Despite not clinching a win, he reached the Championship 4 and finished fourth in the driver standings.
Current Standings and Upcoming Race Details
Currently ranked third in the driver standings and trailing the leader by 28 points, Kvapil recently placed seventh at the O’Reilly series opener held at Daytona International Speedway. This weekend, he will continue to drive the No. 1 Camaro for JR Motorsports as the season progresses toward the Chase. His next race is the Bennett Transportation & Logistics 250 at EchoPark Speedway in Hampton, Georgia, on February 21, with coverage starting at 5 p.m. ET on the CW Network, PRN Radio, and SiriusXM.
Team Strategies Reflect Evolving NASCAR Dynamics
Kvapil’s experience balancing commitments between JR Motorsports and DGM Racing highlights a broader trend of drivers managing multiple team alliances in NASCAR’s competitive landscape. The collaboration between these teams offers Kvapil expanded opportunities to gain track time, diversify his racing experience, and potentially enhance his career trajectory.
This dual-organization participation underscores the strategic maneuvers drivers and teams embrace to contend effectively in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and related NASCAR divisions.
