Isaiah Joe’s Epic Dunk Puts Paolo Banchero on a Poster

OKLAHOMA CITYIsaiah Joe led the Oklahoma City Thunder with 22 points in a commanding 128-92 win over the Orlando Magic, but it was his spectacular left-handed dunk over All-Star Paolo Banchero that captured the fans’ attention at the Paycom Center on Tuesday night. The play ignited the crowd and quickly became the highlight of the game.

Teammate Kenrich Williams couldn’t contain his excitement when reflecting on the dunk, describing it as an annual highlight for Joe.

“I told Isaiah, it seems like every year, once a year, he always catches a body,”

Williams said.

“It’s impressive for a guy his size cause it sneaks up on you. It’s a sneaky bounce — just happy that he caught a body, and it’s fun to watch him play.”

Isaiah Joe Reflects on His Signature Season Moment

Following the game, Isaiah Joe acknowledged the rarity and excitement of his highlight dunks during his media session. He explained that he jokes with his teammates about having about one big poster-worthy moment each season, making this year’s dunk over Banchero particularly special.

“I joke with the guys all the time. I told them I get like one opportunity a year,”

Joe remarked.

“If I’m lucky to get another one, that’ll be a record.”

Joe shot efficiently from the field, finishing 8-for-12 including five three-pointers, while also contributing a steal. Fellow Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 20 points, nine assists, five rebounds, and two steals. Lu Dort added 18 points, five rebounds, and two steals, and Chet Holmgren chipped in with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Isaiah Hartenstein Achieves First Career Triple-Double

In addition to Joe’s electrifying performance, Isaiah Hartenstein made a significant impact by posting the first triple-double of his eight-year NBA career. Returning from injury in only his third game back, Hartenstein registered 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, showcasing his all-around contribution to the Thunder’s success amid ongoing trade rumors involving the team’s search for a center.
