The Buffalo Bills revealed that beginning in 2026, they will assume full control over producing and distributing their radio broadcasts for preseason, regular season, and playoff games. This move aims to modernize how the team delivers content to its fans by managing it internally.
One Bills Live Show Also Moves to In-House Distribution
Starting February 9, the One Bills Live program will also be distributed in-house. The traditional radio broadcast, which is currently aired on WGR-AM 550 and Rochester’s 950-AM The Fan, will shift to exclusive streaming on BuffaloBills.com and THE BILLS APP during weekdays from 1 to 3 p.m. One Bills Live will continue airing simultaneously on MSG Western New York.
Expansion of Affiliate Network Through In-House Control
Pete Guelli, Bills President of Business Operations, emphasized the changing landscape of media delivery, stating,
“The delivery of media content has changed dramatically over the years. We believe the model of in-house production, distribution, and sales will better position the organization to provide access to our fans as well as allow us to further engage with the local business community.”
This shift will allow the Bills to grow their affiliate network beyond New York State to Southern Ontario and other parts of the country.
Partnership Adjustments and Continued On-Air Talent
With the transition to internal production, the 14-year partnership between the Bills and WGR will come to an end. Despite this change, One Bills Live co-hosts Chris Brown and Steve Tasker will maintain their roles. Additionally, daily podcast versions of One Bills Live episodes will be available on the Bills App, BuffaloBills.com, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other popular platforms.
Collaboration with Good Karma Brands to Boost Distribution
The Bills plan to collaborate with Good Karma Brands, a media and marketing company known for its expertise in sports content distribution, to develop and expand their broadcast reach effectively across regional and national markets.
Implications for Fans and the Team’s Media Strategy
This strategic move to bring radio broadcasts and related content in-house represents a significant shift in how the Buffalo Bills engage with their audience. By controlling production and distribution, the team is positioned to offer more accessible, flexible, and innovative media experiences. The expanded affiliate network and partnership with Good Karma Brands are expected to strengthen fan connection locally and beyond, setting a new standard in sports media delivery for the franchise.
