San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White was shot early Monday at a strip club in San Francisco after a dispute with rapper Lil Baby. The 27-year-old sustained a gunshot wound to his ankle while attending gatherings linked to Super Bowl 60, where his former team, the New England Patriots, lost to the Seattle Seahawks.
Details of the Confrontation and Incident Location
Keion hosted an after-party on the upper level of Dahlia Lounge, while Lil Baby and his entourage were at a separate event downstairs. Tensions rose when Lil Baby and his group tried to enter Keion’s party but were refused. The situation escalated during an argument between Keion and Lil Baby, resulting in at least four shots being fired, with Keion struck once in the ankle.
Medical Response and Police Investigation Underway
Keion White was taken to a nearby hospital and underwent surgery on Monday to remove the bullet. Authorities reported no suspects were in custody as of Wednesday morning, and Keion has not cooperated with investigators. At the crime scene, law enforcement discovered evidence of two different types of ammunition. The San Francisco Police Department is actively investigating and examining any involvement from Lil Baby.
Our officers are working diligently on this investigation, and we’re following multiple leads,
