Hailee Steinfeld Reveals Josh Allen’s Valentine’s Day Secret

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld, are preparing for the arrival of their first child while the Bills remain in their offseason following their January 17 playoff defeat to the Denver Broncos. As Valentine’s Day approached on February 14, Steinfeld offered a heartfelt glimpse into how she and Allen celebrate the day focused on love.

In the February 13 edition of her Beau Society newsletter, Steinfeld expressed her affection for Valentine’s Day.

I love February. I don’t know if it’s the pink and red everywhere (forever a fave color combo), the chocolate cake and cookie recipes that pop up the second I open my phone, or the way every streaming service suddenly becomes a curated shrine to romance,

she shared. She further emphasized her appreciation of all forms of love, stating,

Maybe it’s the simple fact that I love love and any excuse to celebrate it: romantic, platonic, self-love, dog love…it all plays.

Steinfeld also revealed a tender detail about Allen’s approach to the holiday, highlighting his willingness to embrace the day alongside her.

A cherry on top is having a husband who not only tolerates my enthusiasm for this holiday but genuinely leans into it with me. Lucky for me, he’s also perfectly satisfied with the version of the day that results in both of us in sweats on the couch doing a whole lot of nothing.

Her description paints Allen as quietly romantic, and throughout the newsletter, Steinfeld offered simple ways to make Valentine’s Day special. One suggestion was to observe a sunrise or sunset to start the day with a sense of wonder.

This is completely free and starts your day with an overwhelming sense of awe (a close sister to love),

she noted.

Wake up early, make your favorite coffee or tea, step outside, and watch the sky changing color. It’s a deceptively magical, early win.

Another recommendation was to indulge in a calming bath or shower with added relaxation elements.

Capitalize on relaxation today. If you’re a bath person like I am, draw one and add Epsom salts,

Steinfeld advised.

Put on some chill music (I might opt for oldies love songs — my wedding-day getting-ready playlist!). Float for a while. When you get out, slather your body with this oil. It’s so good. If you’re looking for a more extensive bath guide, check this out.

Hailee Steinfeld Opens Up on Pregnancy and Fitness

Earlier, in another newsletter installment, Steinfeld candidly discussed how pregnancy is influencing her daily activities, especially exercise. In response to a query from a reader named Meredith concerning adjustments to her workout routine, Steinfeld detailed how she has adapted her regimen.

At this point, they’re a little slower. I’m prioritizing listening to my body, which has been a consistent thing I’ve always done when it comes to working out, regardless of my physical state. Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of walking. Sometimes I set out for 30 minutes, and it ends up being 15, or less than that. I’m taking it slow, but movement is key.

She also shared a moment of self-awareness about managing physical exertion.

The other day, I felt like I should be going up and down the stairs more, so I started doing some housework that had me going up and down the stairs, and afterwards I was like, ‘Okay, I’m good with stairs for a while!’
