Moore’s Football Career and Challenges
Rondale Moore was a standout player at Purdue, earning consensus All-American honors as a freshman in 2018 and starting for three seasons. The Arizona Cardinals selected him with the 49th overall pick in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Moore signed a four-year rookie contract valued at nearly $7 million, including a signing bonus exceeding $2 million. Arizona later traded him to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for quarterback Desmond Ridder. After that stint, Moore became an unrestricted free agent in 2025.
His career was hampered by consecutive season-ending knee injuries, preventing him from playing in multiple seasons. In 2023, Moore played all 17 games for the Cardinals, recording 40 receptions for 352 yards and contributing on the ground with 28 carries for 178 yards along with two total touchdowns.
