Rondale Moore, a 25-year-old NFL wide receiver known for his collegiate success at Purdue and promising professional start with the Arizona Cardinals, was found dead on Saturday in New Albany, Indiana. Authorities indicated his death may have resulted from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and investigations are continuing.
Police chief Todd Bailey revealed Moore was located in the garage of a residence in his hometown. Floyd County Coroner Matthew Tomlin confirmed the death and noted an autopsy was scheduled for Sunday to determine the official cause.

Selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Cardinals, Moore recorded 1,201 receiving yards and three touchdowns, along with 249 rushing yards and a touchdown over three seasons.
