Indiana Fever Dance Auditions: Show Your Moves on March 24

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever, the city’s WNBA team, is inviting dancers to audition for the Fever Inferno Hip-Hop Squad on March 24 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This call is part of the team’s search for fresh performers to energize fans during home games and represent the Fever at various community events.

How to Participate in the Audition Process

Prospective candidates must first complete an online registration form before arriving at the venue. On the day of auditions, in-person check-in begins at 5:15 p.m., followed by the audition itself at 5:45 p.m. Participants should be prepared to learn choreography and display their unique dance style, including freestyle moves. While previous dance experience is encouraged, it is not mandatory. Additional skills such as tumbling will be viewed as an advantage.

Requirements and Commitment Expectations

Candidates must be at least 18 years old by the audition date and willing to dedicate time to twice-weekly rehearsals starting in April. Selected dancers will be expected to perform at every Fever home game during the 2026 season, covering preseason, regular season, and postseason matches. This commitment ensures the team delivers consistent entertainment for fans throughout the basketball calendar.

Significance of Joining the Fever Inferno

Becoming part of Indiana’s official dance squad means engaging directly with the local community while supporting the Fever on game days. The audition offers a platform for dancers in Indianapolis and beyond to showcase their talents and join a prominent sports entertainment group. With the 2026 season approaching, the new squad members will play a key role in enhancing the game-day atmosphere and representing the organization at outreach events.
