Kolosov’s breakthrough came when he was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the third round, 78th overall, during the 2021 NHL Draft. He signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Flyers on 8 July 2023, marking a significant milestone in his career. To further his development, he was loaned to Dinamo Minsk for the 2023–24 season. On 27 October 2024, Kolosov made history by becoming the first Belarusian-born goalie to play in the NHL, where he faced the Montreal Canadiens. Just weeks later, on 23 November 2024, he achieved another milestone by becoming the first Belarusian-born goalie to win an NHL game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
