He attended Westhill High School in Syracuse, New York, and went on to play college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Oregon Ducks. After going undrafted in the 2024 NFL draft, Rogers signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent and began his professional career.

Casey Rogers was born on December 18, 1998, in Columbus, Ohio, USA. He attended Westhill High School in Syracuse, New York, where he developed as an athlete. He later transferred to Avon Old Farms, a preparatory school in Avon, Connecticut.

Coming out of high school, Rogers was a lacrosse player who originally committed to play for the Syracuse Orange. After de-committing from Syracuse to play football, he drew interest from several major programs, including Alabama, Nebraska, Ohio State, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt. Rogers ultimately decided to pursue football and committed to play college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Path to American Football

Rogers arrived at Nebraska as a football recruit after a transition from lacrosse. During the 2018 season, he redshirted and missed the entire year with an injury. In 2019, he appeared in four games where he recorded no statistics, gradually adjusting to the college game.

His role expanded in 2020, when Rogers made 25 tackles, including three tackles for a loss, one sack, and a forced fumble. In 2021, he notched 17 tackles, three tackles for a loss, and half a sack. In week ten of the same season, he added two tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble in a win over California.
