Elijah Harkless, born on February 3, 2000, is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the Utah Jazz in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as well as the Salt Lake City Stars in the NBA G League. He attended Etiwanda High School and went on to play at several colleges including California State University, Northridge, the University of Oklahoma, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he had a notable career culminating in a strong final season. After going undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft, Harkless signed with the Ontario Clippers, before eventually securing a two-way contract with the Jazz in January 2025.

Elijah Harkless was born in San Bernardino, California, where he grew up in a family that supported his athletic pursuits. He attended Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California, where he excelled in basketball. During his senior year, he led his team to a 30–4 record and a third-place finish at the CIF Southern Section Open Division Tournament while averaging over 10 points and five assists per game. After high school, Elijah Harkless began his collegiate basketball career at California State University, Northridge, where he played for two seasons. During his time there, he made a significant impact by becoming the first player in the school’s history to record a triple-double and achieving a remarkable 54 steals in a single season. He later transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where he continued to develop his skills over two seasons, averaging 9.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
