Path to Hockey
Doan’s journey in hockey began when he was selected by the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the 95th overall pick in the 2018 USHL Futures Draft. He played one more year with the Jr. Coyotes before joining the Steel for the 2019–20 season. During his time with the Steel, he tied for 16th on the team with 14 points in 45 games, showcasing his potential as a player.
