He began his high school education at Calvert Hall College High School but transferred to Baltimore Polytechnic Institute after his freshman year. His performance earned him first team All-Metro and second team All-Maryland honors from USA Today. After recovering, he signed another two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls in March 2023 but was waived in December after appearing in 12 games. He returned to the Windy City Bulls shortly thereafter, showcasing his resilience and determination to continue his career.

Breakthrough (2023–Present)

On December 27, 2023, Justin Lewis was traded to the Salt Lake City Stars, marking a new chapter in his professional journey. He later signed with the Calgary Surge of the Canadian Elite Basketball League in 2024 but was waived shortly after. In October 2024, he briefly joined the Utah Jazz before returning to the Salt Lake City Stars. In February 2025, he was acquired by the Delaware Blue Coats, further solidifying his presence in the G League.
