Early Life and Background

Lucas Patrick was born on July 30, 1993, in Brentwood, Tennessee. He attended Brentwood High School, where he excelled in football, earning Tennessee Sports Writers Association First-team 6A All-State honors during his senior year in 2010. He was a three-year letterman and served as a team captain, also participating in the Toyota Tennessee East vs. West All-Star Classic. In addition to football, Patrick was involved in track and field during his high school years.

Path to American Football

After high school, Lucas Patrick continued his football career at Duke University, where he played for the Duke Blue Devils from 2012 to 2015. He was redshirted in 2011 and faced challenges, including a fractured left ankle that required surgery.
