Myles Garrett was born in Arlington, Texas, where he attended Martin High School. During his time there, he excelled in football, basketball, and track. In football, he recorded 19.5 sacks as a senior and received the Landry Award, which honors the top high school player in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Garrett was a five-star recruit and committed to play college football at Texas A&M University in October 2013.
