Myles Lorenz Garrett (born December 29, 1995) is an American professional football defensive end for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies, receiving unanimous All-American honors in 2016. Selected first overall by the Browns in the 2017 NFL draft, Garrett is the team’s all-time career sacks leader. Garrett was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2023, along with receiving seven Pro Bowl and four first-team All-Pro selections.

Myles Garrett was born in Arlington, Texas, where he attended Martin High School. During his time there, he excelled in football, basketball, and track. In football, he recorded 19.5 sacks as a senior and received the Landry Award, which honors the top high school player in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Garrett was a five-star recruit and committed to play college football at Texas A&M University in October 2013.
