Reece Avery Beekman (born October 8, 2001) is an American professional basketball player for the Osceola Magic of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Virginia Cavaliers. Reece was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 13. He attended Scotlandville High School where he became an accomplished player, earning Louisiana Mr. Basketball honors. Reece Beekman enrolled at the University of Virginia in August 2020, quickly establishing himself as a starting guard. Throughout his college career, Beekman averaged 4.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and three assists in his first season. After going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft, Reece Beekman signed a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors on July 3, 2024. On December 15, 2024, Beekman was traded to the Brooklyn Nets, where he made 34 appearances during the 2024–25 NBA season, averaging 2.7 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.
