He attended Stevens Point Area Senior High School, where he played high school football and earned First Team All-State honors from the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association in 2011. He was invited to participate in the 2012 WFCA All-Star Game, showcasing his talent at a young age. Despite receiving a scholarship offer from the University of Pittsburgh, he chose to enroll at Winona State University, a Division II school in Minnesota. However, he left before the football season began.
After a brief period at Madison Area Technical College and Mid-State Technical College, Ramczyk transferred to the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point in 2013.
