Thomas Bordeleau was born on January 3, 2002, in Houston, Texas. He is the son of Sébastien Bordeleau, a professional hockey player, and Chantal Dubois, a gynecologist. During his early years, Bordeleau lived in Houston while his father played for the Houston Aeros. After ten years in Switzerland, the family moved to Terrebonne, Quebec, following his father’s retirement in 2012. This multicultural upbringing provided Bordeleau with a unique perspective on both American and Canadian hockey cultures.
