Early Life and Background
Tyler Biadasz was born on November 20, 1997, in Amherst, Wisconsin. He attended Amherst High School, where he excelled in football, earning first-team all-state honors as a defensive tackle during his junior and senior seasons. His impressive high school career included 70 tackles, 7 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, and one interception in his senior year. Biadasz was recognized as the top high school defensive lineman in Wisconsin, receiving the Tim Krumrie Award. In addition to football, he participated in basketball and baseball. After attending a camp at the University of Wisconsin, he committed to play for the Badgers on June 8, 2015, choosing Wisconsin over several other schools.
Path to American Football
At the University of Wisconsin, Tyler Biadasz was redshirted and transitioned to the center position. He made an immediate impact as a freshman, starting all 14 games and earning Freshman All-American and third-team All-Big Ten honors. In his sophomore year, he continued to anchor the offensive line, starting all 13 games. After consulting with the NFL Draft Advisory Committee following the 2018 season, he opted to return for another year. In 2021, he started all 17 games, helping the Cowboys’ offense rank first in the league for yards and points per game.
