Tyler Kleven is an American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played college hockey with the University of North Dakota. He was selected 44th overall in the second round of the 2020 NHL entry draft by the Senators. After leaving college, he began his professional career with the Senators in 2023.

Tyler Kleven was born on January 10, 2002, in Fargo, North Dakota, to Chris and Lori Kleven. His father, Chris Kleven, was a former defenseman for the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League (USHL) and the Northern Michigan Wildcats. He built a backyard ice rink for Tyler and coached him during his childhood. Originally starting as a forward, Tyler transitioned to defense at the age of eight, which suited his defensive mindset better.

In this game, he recorded his first NHL point, an assist on a goal by Claude Giroux, contributing to a 5–4 victory for the Senators. He finished the season having played eight games for the Senators.
