He played for Wyoming from 2018 to 2021 before transferring to Arizona State for his final year. Valladay went undrafted in 2023 but signed with the Houston Texans as a free agent, later joining several teams in the NFL, including the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets, where he is currently playing.
