Brock Nelson is an American professional ice hockey center currently playing for the Colorado Avalanche in the NHL. Drafted 30th overall by the New York Islanders in 2010, Nelson began his career with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the AHL before establishing himself in the NHL. Over eleven seasons with the Islanders, he earned a reputation for scoring and leadership, including a career-high 53 points in 2018–2019 and serving as an alternate captain.
