Jakob Marsee is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Miami Marlins, born on 28 June 2001. Drafted by the San Diego Padres in the sixth round of the 2022 MLB Draft out of Central Michigan University, he climbed through the Padres’ system before being traded to Miami on May 4, 2024, as part of the package for Luis Arráez. Marsee made his major-league debut on August 1, 2025, against the New York Yankees, recording his first hit and three walks, and hit his first home run four days later off Houston’s AJ Blubaugh. He won National League Rookie of the Month for August 2025, the first major individual honor of his big-league career.
