The Cup field will engage in a series of preliminary activities including multiple practice sessions and qualifying rounds that determine starting positions. Two 60-lap Duel races will set the stage before the main event, giving drivers additional opportunities to showcase their skills and secure better starting spots for the 68th running of the Great American Race.

Detailed Schedule and Format Leading Up to the Race

In the days before the Daytona 500, teams and drivers will participate in two official practice sessions and the qualifying event that decides the lineup for the Duel races.
