Jay Glazer of FOX Sports revealed in a Yahoo Sports interview that defensive end Maxx Crosby’s tenure with the Las Vegas Raiders is likely coming to an end. This development unfolds just ahead of the NFL Draft, with a resolution expected imminently regarding Crosby’s situation.
According to Glazer, Crosby is poised to sign a contract exceeding the four-year, $186 million deal the Green Bay Packers agreed upon with Micah Parsons last offseason, signaling his high value in the league.

Glazer noted that after reports emerged about Crosby’s frustration with the Raiders shutting him down, over 20 NFL teams reached out to inquire about acquiring him.

he recounted hearing from interested parties. Despite the Raiders’ plans, Crosby is reportedly reluctant to remain with the team because he does not want to endure another rebuilding phase.

Crosby, 28, has recently been rehabilitating after undergoing meniscus surgery about a month ago. The former Eastern Michigan University standout was selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Raiders, quickly establishing himself as a key defensive presence.
Entering his final year under his initial contract, which included a $782,264 signing bonus and an $850,000 base salary, Crosby later secured a four-year, $98.98 million extension with more than $53 million guaranteed. Further, he signed a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension covering 2025 and beyond, with base salaries of $22.236 million and $18.84 million in the final two years.
