He attended Central Dauphin High School for his freshman and sophomore years before transferring to Harrisburg High School, where he excelled as both a defensive end and running back. As a senior, Parsons posted impressive statistics, including 1,239 rushing yards and 27 rushing touchdowns, which tied for ninth in the state. He also played varsity basketball and was recognized as a five-star recruit, ranked highly by various recruiting services.
