Funeral plans have been confirmed for Rondale Moore, an NFL wide receiver and former Trinity High School athlete from New Albany. The visitation will be held on March 5 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., followed by the funeral service on March 6 at 11 a.m., both at Northside Christian Church on Charlestown Road.

Career and Life Highlights of a Promising Athlete
Moore, a New Albany native, won a state basketball championship in 2016 before transferring to Trinity High School in Louisville, where he secured another state title the following year. He played college football at Purdue University under coach Jeff Brohm, where he made an immediate mark. In his freshman year, 2018, he recorded 114 receptions for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns, earning first-team All-American honors.
Professionally, Moore was part of the Minnesota Vikings‘ roster for the 2025 season but was placed on injured reserve before the season began. He also played for the Arizona Cardinals and the Atlanta Falcons. At the time of his passing on February 21, Moore was 25 years old.
