Naomi Osaka’s EVOLVE Serves Up: EVOLVE, a tennis representation agency, is expanding into pickleball. The agency is owned by Naomi Osaka, a former top-ranked Women’s Tennis Association player, and her agent Stuart Duguid. They are starting a new division called Pro Pickleball Management (PPM) to focus on pickleball.
Pro Pickleball Management (PPM) will exclusively manage some of the top pickleball players. These players include Anna Bright, Federico Staksrud, Hurricane Tyra Black, James Ignatowich, and Rachel Rohrabacher.
PPM is just starting out, but EVOLVE has experience in pickleball. Osaka is one of the owners of MLP’s Miami Pickleball Club, and Jamie Duguid, who will run PPM, also manages the team. Staksrud and Black were part of Miami’s team in 2023 as well.
