Andrew Welinski was born on April 27, 1993, in Duluth, Minnesota, USA. He attended Duluth East High School, where he began to cultivate his passion for ice hockey. Path to Hockey
Following high school, Andrew Welinski played two seasons with the Green Bay Gamblers in the United States Hockey League (USHL), starting in 2010. Andrew Welinski began his professional career when he signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Anaheim Ducks on April 4, 2016. He joined the Ducks’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Diego Gulls, on an amateur tryout agreement and made his AHL debut on April 6, 2016. Welinski made his NHL debut on December 11, 2017, against the Carolina Hurricanes. Throughout his early career, he played for various teams, including the Anaheim Ducks and Löwen Frankfurt.
