Drafted 28th overall by the New York Islanders in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, he began his professional career with the Islanders in 2016. Beauvillier has also played for the Vancouver Canucks and Chicago Blackhawks, among other teams, and has represented Canada at international levels.
