Lundell was considered a top prospect for the 2020 NHL entry draft, where he was selected 12th overall by the Panthers. Lundell won back-to-back Stanley Cups with the Panthers in 2024 and 2025.

Anton Lundell was born on 3 October 2001 in Espoo, Finland. Growing up in a country where ice hockey is a significant part of the culture, Lundell was exposed to the sport at an early age. Early Career (2018–2021)
Lundell signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Florida Panthers on 7 June 2021. He made his NHL debut on 14 October 2021, in a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Just a few days later, on 19 October 2021, Lundell scored his first NHL goal against Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy in a 4–1 Panthers win. His performance continued to impress, as he recorded his first multi-point NHL game with five assists in an 8–4 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on 31 January 2022. Lundell’s outstanding play earned him the NHL Rookie of the Month award for January 2022 after he recorded 17 points in 15 games.
Breakthrough (2023–2025)
In the 2023–24 season, Lundell reached the Stanley Cup Final with the Panthers for the second consecutive year, defeating the Edmonton Oilers in seven games, which marked his first career Stanley Cup championship. Following this achievement, Lundell signed a six-year, $30 million contract extension with the Panthers. The 2024–25 season saw Lundell and the Panthers clinch a third consecutive Stanley Cup Final trip, where they repeated as champions for a second consecutive year, once again defeating the Oilers in the Final, this time in six games.
