Early Life and Background

Jalen Nailor was born on March 2, 1999, in Palmdale, California. He attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he excelled in both football and track. During his high school career, Nailor won four state titles and recorded an impressive 28 touchdowns and over 2,000 yards. In his senior year, he achieved 12 touchdowns, 41 receptions, and 807 yards. Initially committed to Arizona State, Nailor decommitted after the head coach was fired and chose to play at Michigan State University instead.

Path to American Football

At Michigan State, Nailor continued to develop his skills as a wide receiver. He played in 28 games during his college career, where he tallied 86 receptions for 1,453 yards and 12 touchdowns. In 2020, he led the Big Ten Conference in yards per catch and was the runner-up in 2021. One of his standout performances came against Rutgers in 2021, where he recorded a career-high 221 yards and three touchdowns.
