Liam McNeeley Bio
Liam Thomas McNeeley (born October 10, 2005) is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the UConn Huskies. He was a consensus five-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2024 class.
Early Life and Background
Liam McNeeley was born in Richardson, Texas. He began his education at J. J. Pearce High School before transferring to John Paul II High School in Plano, Texas, after his freshman year. During his sophomore year, he averaged 17 points, nine rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks per game. Following this season, he transferred to Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida, where he continued to develop his skills on the court. At Montverde, he averaged 13.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in his first season. In his senior year, McNeeley averaged 12.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. He was selected to participate in the prestigious 2024 McDonald’s All-American Boys Game during his senior year.

Initially, he committed to play college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers after considering offers from Kansas and Texas.
