She also served as an assistant coach for Sacramento State. She played college basketball at Oregon and has represented Germany at international competitions, including the FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship where she won a gold medal. Nyara Sabally was drafted by the New York Liberty as the 5th overall pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft.
