Trevor J. Megill was born on December 5, 1993. He attended Marina High School in Huntington Beach, California, where he began to develop his skills as a baseball player. After high school, he graduated through Bixby Charter School. Undrafted out of high school, he continued his education and baseball career at Loyola Marymount University. During his time in college, Megill faced challenges, including undergoing Tommy John surgery, which sidelined him for his junior season.
