The Sioux Falls Skyforce are a professional basketball team based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, competing in the NBA G League as an affiliate of the Miami Heat. Established in 1989, the team initially competed in the Continental Basketball Association before joining the G League in 2006. Known as the longest-running minor-league basketball team in the United States, they play home games at the Sanford Pentagon and sport the red, black, and yellow colors. The Skyforce have won multiple championships across leagues, including two CBA titles and one NBA D-League championship in 2016.
