Early Life and Background

TyTy Washington Jr. was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Cesar Chavez High School, where he began to showcase his basketball talent. During his sophomore year, he averaged 23.2 points, 4.1 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.3 steals per game. Washington later transferred to AZ Compass Prep School in Chandler, Arizona, where he continued to excel in basketball. As a senior, he averaged 24 points, seven assists, and six rebounds per game, leading his team to a remarkable 30–2 record.
